NSPA delivers critical medical supplies to Afghanistan
22 March 2018
NSPA successfully completed the first three deliveries of medical supplies to the Afghan National Security Defence Forces in Kabul earlier this month. This project will provide much-needed support to the medical facilities of Afghanistan, replenishing their stocks of critical life-saving pharmaceuticals.
These deliveries are part of NSPA’s continuing support to the Combined Security Transition Command in Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and are the first instalment of almost two dozen packages that will supply almost 2000 tonnes of pharmaceuticals over the next few months.
Close cooperation between NSPA, contractors and CSTC-A staff is critical to ensure the continued success of this large logistical operation and other planned complex logistic endeavours in support of the Afghanistan military medical capabilities
