    NSPA IS NATO’S LEAD ORGANISATION FOR MULTINATIONAL ACQUISITION, SUPPORT AND SUSTAINMENT IN ALL DOMAINS


This support ranges from the multinational acquisition of complex platforms, such as aircraft, helicopters and uncrewed systems, to the provision of supplies such as fuel, spare parts and ammunition, or services including the maintenance of radars for air defence, or deployable infrastructure, transportation, medical and catering services.

Cooperation with industry is one of NSPA’s major strengths that enables to developstate-of-the-art solutions and source the latest technologies for the Alliance. To successfully deliver these current and future capabilities for NATO and Partner Nations, and gain access to the latest developments, NSPA engages and works closely with industry at different stages of the acquisition and sustainment
cycles.

The Agency’s objective is to obtain the best service or equipment at the best price for the customer by consolidating requirements from multiple nations in a cost-efficient way through its turnkey multinational acquisition framework.

Over 60,000 companies are registered in the NSPA source file, of which 10,000 are actively doing business with NSPA's customers.

NSPA is a customer-funded agency, operating on a "no profit - no loss" basis.

NSPA is headquartered in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with main operational centres in France, Hungary and Italy. The Agency employs over 1,500 staff and oversees more than 500 contractors in NATO's missions across the world.

At NSPA, we constantly evolve to create and deliver value to our customers while effectively and efficiently meeting their requirements.

NATO Allies

NSPA's primary customers are the 32 NATO nations, more particularly the individual and joint materiel commands of their armed services.

Partner nations

Partnership for Peace (PfP) nations can also be customers, provided they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NSPO.

Additionally, a non-NATO nation may request services directly from NSPA. This can be done either by using the Random Brokerage service or by establishing a specific Sales Agreement or Service Level Agreement with NSPA.

OUR ORGANISATION

As one of the three NATO Agencies, the NSPA operates under the under North Atlantic Council-approved charters.

The Agency is the executive body of the NATO Support and Procurement Organisation (NSPO), of which all 32 NATO nations are members. Those nations are represented in the NSPO Agency Supervisory Board (ASB), which directs and controls the activities of the NSPA.
