Logistics Planning Advisory Committee Meeting

On 16-18 April 2013, NSPA's Logistics Operations and Plans Office hosted the spring meeting of the Logistics Planning Advisory Committee (LPAC).

Forty-two delegates attended, representing 21 nations, NATO HQ, the two Strategic Commands (ACT and SHAPE), the European Union Military Staff and the Multinational Logistics Coordination Center (MLCC). Mr Steven Bernett, NSPA's Director of Logistics Operations, opened the meeting on 16 April 2013.

These meetings which are chaired by the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) provide a forum of discussion on logistics issues related to the NATO Defence Planning Process (NDPP). The Logistics Operations and Plans Office attends the LPAC meetings in a monitoring and advisory role.

Nations left with a better appreciation of the parameters of NATO Defence Planning and this will directly assist in the preparation of future Defence Planning Questionnaires.
