LUXEMBOURG - On 24-26 May 2022, the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) organised its 9th Night Vision Surveillance Equipment (NVSE) Conference in Athens, Greece. The event, hosted by the Hellenic Army, brought together military and NSPA specialists with NATO NVSE manufacturers of latest generation equipment.
The conference allowed a fruitful exchange of operational, technical and logistics information on support and acquisition. In particular in the areas of day and night target detection, observation, reconnaissance and identification, including fire control systems and smart shooter applications, for both portable solutions and remote stations and integrated in C2 systems.
NSPA officials briefed participants on the support provided to Nations via the Night Vision and Optroelectronics (NVO) Support Partnership, as well as opportunities and trends in the domain, together with NSPA's procurement policies and future business opportunities.
A total of 30 national delegates representing 12 delegations participated in this event together with 18 companies that provided briefings on latest technologies and products.
