NSPA General Manager visits Kosovo Force Mission

LUXEMBOURG - On 6-7 June 2022, NSPA General Manager, Ms Stacy Cummings, visited NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) Headquarters to meet with KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajari. She visited the various locations where NSPA is providing services in support to the troops deployed in the peace-support mission.

NSPA has been supporting KFOR operations since 2006. The Agency operates in eight locations across Kosovo, providing a wide range of services that includes from maintaining a fuel depot and flight line refueling, to managing the contracts to deliver food, base support, medical, force protection and infrastructure operations and maintenance services.

Over the course of two days, Ms. Cummings visited several NSPA construction projects, including the accommodation building at Camp Film City and the medical facilities at Camp Bondsteel, Camp Novo Selo and Camp Film City. She also discussed current support and how the Agency could further assist  KFOR in the future during her engagement with Major General Ferenc Kajari.

Under the authority of the United Nations (UN Security Council Resolution 1244) NATO has been leading a peace support operation in Kosovo since 12 June 1999 in support of wider international efforts to build peace and stability in the area. The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is currently deployed in the Balkans to contribute to a safe and secure environment, and to support and coordinate the international humanitarian effort and civil presence. To that end, the United Nations, the European Union and other international actors continue to support the development of a stable, democratic, multi-ethnic and peaceful Kosovo.
