LUXEMBOURG - From 15 to 17 November 2022, representatives from 40 Nations met for the 122th Allied Committee 135 (AC/135) on Codification at the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) Headquarters in Luxembourg.
The AC/135 is composed of 64 member nations (30 NATO Allied and 34 Nations approved for sponsorship in the NATO Codification System). The key outcome of the 122th AC135 Committee Meeting was the budgetary forecast for the future activities and the fine-tuning of the implemented NATO Data Exchange Redesign (NDER) project. Special consideration was given to additive manufacturing in regards to codification.
On 5 December 1957, the North Atlantic Council set up the committee on the codification of equipment. The AC/135 manages the NATO Codification System supporting logistics operation with the NATO Stock Numbers and identification data of spare parts.
