Ms Stacy A. Cummings APPOINTED as NSPA  General Manager


LUXEMBOURG, 30 August 2021 - Ms. Stacy A. Cummings has been appointed as the new NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) General Manager. 

Ms. Cummings joins NSPA from the United States Department of Defense, where she was most recently Performing the Duties of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. Prior to her last assignment, she has held key positions serving as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and previously as the Program Executive Officer for Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS). Ms. Cummings has also held senior roles at the Department of Transportation and the Department of the Navy.

From 1 September 2021, Ms. Cummings will lead the 1,500-strong multinational organisation, specialised in Acquisition and Logistics support and focused on the delivery of a broad spectrum of integrated capabilities and services to the Alliance.

Ms. Stacy A. Cummings will start her tenure as NSPA General Manager on 1 September 2021.

Ms. Cummings, in succeeding Mr. Peter Dohmen, takes the helm of an Agency that is experiencing stable and sustainable growth.

"I am honoured to join the NSPA team," said Ms. Cummings. "I look forward to leading the Agency into the next chapter of its long and successful history as NATO's primary enabler through logistics, acquisition and mission support."

Under Ms. Cummings' leadership, NSPA will continue to pursue an ambitious strategic direction as a key executing organisation in support of NATO Allies and Partner Nations.
