LUXEMBOURG - On 15 October 2020, Peter Dohmen, NSPA General Manager, welcomed Vice Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos, National Military Representative of Greece to the NATO and EU Military Committees. The Vice Admiral was accompanied by Lt Col Evangelos Tsamis and the Hellenic Liaison Office (HELO) staff personnel to NSPA.

The Greek representatives were briefed by the General Manager on the Agency's capabilities. This was followed by presentations by Orhan Muratli, Director of Support to Operations, and Emilio Tuñón, Acting Director Life Cycle Management. Further discussions turned around active cooperation and building of further shared capabilities and collaboration opportunities.

I would like to express my appreciation for hosting and briefing me in detail about the great work that is being done by NSPA for the benefit of the Alliance and its member states
Vice Admiral Ioannis Pavlopoulos

NSPA General Manager highlighted the deep relations between Greece and NSPA: "Greece is a very important Ally and partner for NATO and NSPA", Mr Dohmen underlined.

Greece is one of the oldest members of the Alliance. Since its accession in 1952, the Hellenic country has contributed to Euro-Atlantic security and at the same time has been protected by the security umbrella the Alliance offers its members.
