NSPA General Manager Visits KFOR

NSPA General Manager, Peter Dohmen, and Director of Support to Operations, Orhan Muratli, visited Kosovo over the past two days to review NSPA activities in support of the NATO KFOR mission, charged with leading a peace support operation in Kosovo in support of wider international efforts to build peace and stability in the area.

NSPA has been supporting the KFOR operations since 2014. The Agency operates in eight locations across Kosovo and provides helicopter refuelling throughout the country upon request. The Agency provides KFOR services to maintain their operations, which includes everything from maintaining a fuel depot and flight line refuelling, to managing the contracts to provide food, accommodation, medical services and fire protection services, amongst a wide range of other support.

Over the course of two days, Mr. Dohmen visited various NSPA construction projects, including the construction of the replacement accommodation at Camp Film City and the medical facilities at both Camp Novo Selo and Camp Film City. He also took time to highlight NSPA's logistical expertise and if required, how the agency could further help KFOR in the future during his engagement with Major General D'Addario.

"I am proud of the work that our team has done here in Kosovo to enable this mission to fulfil its objectives – they work hard to make sure that the KFOR personnel are sheltered, fed, able to move around the theatre efficiently and can see medical assistance easily. I look forward to exploring ways to further our cooperation with KFOR in the future," expressed General Manager Dohmen upon the conclusion of his visit.
