Global Food Services Contract Signed

On 5 June 2019, NSPA, led by the General Manager Peter Dohmen, welcomed Brigadier General Gerhard Schonewille, the Director of Support Royal Netherlands Army to the NSPA Headquarters.

The visit commemorates the establishment of the Operational Logistics Support Partnership (OLSP) Global Food Services standing commercial capability in a signing ceremony.

The Netherlands sponsored the establishment of the first-ever Global Food Services standing capability managed by NSPA. The governance for this endeavor is through the Operational Logistics Support Partnership (OLSP) Committee.

OLSP Global Food Services is a standing capability that consists of multiple NSPA-managed outline agreements for food supply, catering staff and full scale catering operations. This initiative radically increases NSPA's speed, flexibility and scalability when tasked to deliver food services worldwide. All NATO nations and partner nations may gain access to these services.

Prior to the signing Ceremony, the General Manager, the Directors of Support to Operations and Life Cycle Management, and the Chief of OLSP provided the Brigadier General an overview of NSPA activities and services, including ongoing cooperation between the Netherlands and NSPA.
