NSPA participates in the Global Defence Helicopter Conference 2019

30 October 2019

The Global Defence Helicopter Conference is the Europe’s largest dedicated military helicopter event and this year the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) was represented by Daniel Cucchi, Aviation Support and Programme Manager, and Thomas Gaborit, Helicopter Section Chief, who participated as speakers on 30th October.

Our team members used their expertise to provide the attentive audience very interesting insights on how to create successful partnerships to support the Allied Helicopter Fleets. They proved to the forum participants how the partnership model enables efficient procurement and showed some practical examples and success stories.

“The Global Defense helicopter conference was an excellent opportunity to meet with helicopters professionals from different nations, industries and other international organisations. A great occasion to demonstrate NSPA’s expertise and competencies related to helicopter product life-cycle management and the benefits of using the helicopter support partnership”,  Mr Gaborit assured.

This annual event, celebrated this time in Dresden (Germany), is the premier international forum for operators, programme teams, technical specialists and industry to take stock of the latest operational, training and programmatic trends, and to exchange ideas and experiences. It includes multiple helicopter disciplines and brings together over 300 delegates from NATO nations and partners to discuss, plan and solve current and future operational requirements across three days.

The NSPA Aviation Programme provides, through the Support Partnership concept, a capability solution to cover the nations’ needs in life-cycle management.
