NAMP 10 Years Anniversary

On 13 September 2018, the NATO Airlift Management (NAM) Programme celebrated its 10th Anniversary recognizing that on 23 September 2008 10 NATO nations and 2 PfP nations signed the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Over these 10 years, the NAM Programme has matured into a premiere example of NATO Smart Defense. In support of the SAC Heavy Airlift Wing’s C-17 operations, the NAM Programme has earned high marks for delivering outstanding service, directly contributing to the Heavy Airlift Wing’s mission success.
The event was opened with welcome remarks by Mr. Peter DOHMEN, NSPA General Manager, continued by Mr. Wiek NOLDUS, NAM Programme Manager, who presented the milestones of NAM PO support to SAC Program. The official part ended with Anniversary Coin presentation by Mr. DOHMEN and Mr. NOLDUS to NAMP Staff and invited guests.
Distinguished guests as Col. Bjørn GOHN-HELLUM the Heavy Airlift Wing Commander, Col. László GANGLER the Pápa Airbase Commander, Mr. Tamás ÁLDOZÓ the Mayor of Pápa and Mr. Steve LAUB the Base Manager of Boeing attended the Anniversary event.
