AFSC Support Partnership launched

11 January 2018

On 20 December 2017, the NATO North Atlantic Council approved the Alliance Future Surveillance and Control (AFSC) Support Partnership Agreement and Programme Directive, formally establishing the AFSC Support Partnership (SP) as the programmatic governance body for the AFSC.

The AFSC Support Partnership Committee (SPC) will consist of representatives from all NATO nations with participation from other NATO bodies as needed. Establishment of the SPC completes the implementation of the AFSC Governance Structure agreed by the nations in February 2017.

"We are very much looking forward to the first AFSC SPC meeting which will be held on 19-20 March in Brussels," highlighted Dr. Çağatay Soyer, the NSPA Project Manager.
