20 September 2017

On September 19th, the NATO Support and Procurement Organisation (NSPO) Chairperson, Ms. Jennifer Hubbard, along with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency General Manager, Mr. Peter Dohmen, provided a briefing on Agency activities to the NATO North Atlantic Council.

The briefing outlined the Agency’s new 2018-2022 Strategic Direction which was approved by the Agency Supervisory Board in June. The NSPA Strategic Direction is available here.

“I was pleased to provide NATO Ambassadors with a deeper insight on NSPO’s existing cooperative frameworks, under which nations continue to come together and enhance the Alliance’s readiness” said Ms. Hubbard.

“It was an honour to brief the NAC. We were delighted to be able to update the Deputy Secretary General and the Ambassadors first-hand on the Agency’s last year activities as well as on our plans for the near future, in particular our ambitions regarding support to NATO operations and exercises, life cycle management, and the development of our acquisition role” added Mr. Dohmen.

The NAC is the principal political decision-making body of NATO, consisting of Permanent Representatives from its member nations.
