Programme earns ISO 14001 re-certification
29 May 2017
In early May the NSPA General and Cooperative Services Programme received re-certification of its Environmental Management System (EMS), against the ISO 14001 standard, from TÜV Rheinland. Following its initial certification in 2011, this dynamic programme has maintained high standards in applying and promoting EMS at NSPA. This initiative underscores the importance given to the environment by the Agency and achieves another goal set by the organization.
This re-certification followed the successful audit held on 8 March 2017, during which the certifying body underlined the programme’s sustained efforts towards the active engagement of EMS with both contractors and customers. “Our programme is committed to maintaining the highest standards of environmental performance, preventing pollution and minimizing the impact of its services and activities on the environment by through continuous performance improvement,” highlighted Programme Manager, Mr. John Bosmans.
