NSPA hosts Norwegian Industry Day
02 May 2017
NSPA hosted yet another successful industry day in Capellen. Despite unfavorable weather conditions in Norway and snow storms resulting in cancelation of flights, key Norwegian companies still managed to attend the meeting.
NSPA welcomed Mr Kyrre Knutsen representing Norwegian Ministry of Defence and Mr John-Arne Nyland from Norwegian delegation to NATO HQ along with representatives from FSi, which is the primary interlocutor for the Norwegian government in matters of importance to the defense industry.
During the event, NSPA staff highlighted how Norwegian industry can do business with the Agency, register with NSPA’s Industry Source File, identify Future Business Opportunities and respond to Requests for Proposals. The afternoon session included business-to-business meetings with technicians and procurement officers from Agency programmes as well as demonstrations of state-of-the-art equipment such as FLIR Unmanned Helicopter.
“Industry Days are key engagement opportunities for NSPA and this Industry Day for Norway proved to be another successful event of this type. Industry briefings as well as bilateral meetings in the afternoon allowed a professional dialogue with Norwegian MOD colleagues and Industry alike and provided a great opportunity for NSPA staff to better understand what the market can offer.” explained Mr. Patrick Fesquet, NSPA’s Director of Procurement.
