Exercise Trident Juncture 2015 takes hold

Exercise Trident Juncture 2015 (TRJE15) entered the Operation Phase on 3rd October, where a small deployment team from the Southern Operational Centre (SOC) remains to maintain CP 156 and support Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, under the command of General Hans-Lothar Domröse.

The SOC team gives a warm welcome to General Domröse on an information visit of CP 156 assets. He was extremely impressed and thanked the SOC team for their hard work along with commenting on the smooth running of the technical equipment from such a small team. The team has also been visited by the Chief of Staff, Lt. General Janusz Adamczak who took a tour around the accommodation camp of CP 156, which included the technical area holding the generator farm, the water treatment and the sewage treatment plants. An in depth explanation was given on each subject, where the Chief of Staff expressed his gratitude for the dedication given from the SOC team.

The accommodation site consists of 125 tents, 22 ablution units, water treatment, sewage treatment, fuel dispensary, workshop facilities and power generation. The CP 156 assets erected will allow Joint Force Command Brunssum to accommodate and support up to a maximum of 1,000 personnel. The TRJE15 HQ will house 1,450 personnel during its peak of the exercise.
