NSPA attends worldwide MK46 convocation

The annual Mk 46 Torpedo International Logistics Discussion (ILD) meeting was held in Keyport Naval base in the USA between 29 Oct-1 Nov 2013.
At the meeting, the US Navy provided information about the maintenance, supply and service activities to the Mk 46 Torpedo user navies. The future of the Mk 46 Mod 5 Torpedo was also discussed and general information about Foreign Military Sales procedures was provided to the audience.
NSPA was represented by Mr. Mehmet CICEKCI who briefed the participants about the Agency, Naval Logistics Support Partnership (NLSP) and the Mk 46 Torpedo Project Group. The participants, who were made up of NATO and Partner nations from across the globe, demonstrated great interest in the services available through NSPA and its business units.
