NSPA Represents NATO AC/135 at Serbia Defence Conference
02 July 2013
NSPA staff Mr. Steven Arnett and Mr. André Felten from the NSPA codification services branch represented NATO Allied Committee 135 (AC 135) at the 6th International Defense Fair 'Partner 2013' in Belgrade, Serbia from 25-28 June.
AC/135 manages the NATO Codification System, and NSPA provides administrative and technical support. In addition to manning the AC/135 booth, "the NSPA team was able to make many excellent contacts during the event", stated Mr. Steven Arnett.
The NSPA team also conducted a workshop on the basics and benefits of the NCS to an audience of more than a hundred that included representatives from the Serbian military forces and defence industry. Serbia is in the process of implementing Tier 2 partnership in the NCS, which means that it will assign NATO Stock Numbers to items that originate in Serbia and conduct full data exchange with the other AC/135 nations.
