Agency Supervisory meeting
02 July 2013
The third meeting of the Agency Supervisory Board (ASB) took place in Capellen on Wednesday, 26 June 2013. The date of the meeting was close to the first anniversary of the establishment of the NATO Support Organisation (NSPO) and its Executive Agency, NSPA, on 1 July 2012.
Among several issues on the Agenda, the ASB approved the new NSPO Procurement Regulation, received an update from the Head of the Office Shared Services from NATO HQ and had briefings on NSPA Logistics Operations and Airlift and Fuel Management activities. The Board was very positive on the General Manager’s proposals on the Strategic Direction of the Agency for the years to 2017. The Strategic Direction implies continued transformation of the Agency and a mandate for the Agency to exploit new potential for supporting capability development for NATO.
Pleasingly, there was also an opportunity for Board members to mix work with a little moment of celebration. The NSPO ASB Chairman and Board congratulated the General Manager and Agency Staff for all that had been achieved by NSPO and NSPA so far. They even found time for a slice of anniversary cake - skillfully cut by the Chairman, Mr. Per Christensen.
