Norwegian Industry Day

NSPA recently hosted a Norwegian delegation led by the Ambassador of Norway to NATO H.E. Mr. Vegard ELLEFSEN on 27 and 28 May.
NSPA GM, Mr. Lyden, welcomed the delegation and opened the afternoon meeting with a General Orientation briefing.
After a short break and an initial informal exchange of ideas between the NSPA representatives and the Norwegian delegation, the industrial partners highlighted their capabilities, covering a wide range of systems in areas such as aerospace, communication, missiles and rockets, naval command & weapons control systems, oil and gas technologies, space and satellite services, air defence, homeland security, remote weapon stations, AEW&C, AGS, archival/retrieval facilities, ammunition, demilitarization, UAS, torpedoes, remotely operated vehicles, autonomous underwater vehicles, signature management systems, electronic warfare systems, containerized camp systems, real life support equipment, inflatable tents, oil recovery boom systems and services, field high nutrition dehydrated meals, specialized electro components, connector assemblies, harnesses, cable systems and electro-optics.
The second day started with the presentation of the opportunities offered by the NSPA, followed by ‘speed-dating’ meetings with different programs of the agency. The event concluded with a lunch hosted by the Norwegian delegation.
All attendees were clearly satisfied with the meeting, which has been productive and beneficial.
