Air Vice Marshall Graham Howard, Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (ACDS Logistic Operations) and Brigadier General Crispin Walker, the United Kingdom NSPO Agency Supervisory Board Member, and their staff welcomed Mr. Mike Lyden, the NSPA General Manager, and the NSPA Team, to the NSPA Symposium held on 6 February 2013 at Ministry of Defence Abbey Wood, Bristol, United Kingdom.

The Symposium was attended by over 30 staff of both the Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) and the Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) Organisation. The aim of the Symposium was to provide attendees with an overview of how the UK is currently using NSPA and what NSPA capabilities could contribute to both PJHQ and DE&S’s respective support to UK Defence Forces. The Symposium also provided a forum for the ACDS (Log Ops) to brief UK staff on its renewed approach towards closer cooperation with NATO and its Agencies.
