Commander, Defense Logistics Agency Energy visits NSPA

On Monday 14 January, Brigadier General Giovanni TUCK, Commander Defense Logistics Agency Energy, a primary-level field activity based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia visited NSPA. He was welcomed by the NSPA General Manager Mr Mike LYDEN. The main aim of the visit was familiarization with NSPA, focusing on fuel support.

The Defense Logistics Agency is the US Department of Defense's largest logistics combat support agency, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services as well as several civilian agencies and foreign countries. As Commander, Brigadier General Giovanni TUCK is responsible for providing the Department of Defense and governmental agencies with comprehensive energy solutions which directly support combatant commanders and their operations.

General TUCK was clearly satisfied with his visit, qualifying it in his comments as most beneficial in creating better understanding and identifying opportunities for cooperation.
