Lieutenant-General Marquis HAINSE, Deputy Commander Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples, visits NSPA

On Tuesday, 11 December 2012 the NSPA General Manager Mr Mike Lyden hosted the Deputy Commander Allied JFC Naples, Lieutenant-General Marquis Hainse, on his official visit to NSPA.

As the Deputy Commander, an appointment he took up in October 2011, General Hainse supports the Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples in planning and conducting military operations in order to preserve the peace, security and territorial integrity of Alliance member states and freedom of the seas and economic lifelines throughout SACEUR's Area of Responsibility (AOR) and beyond.

During his visit, General Hainse was briefed on the Agency's efforts in the reform context and NSPA’s logistics support to ongoing as well as future operations, in particular those connected with JFC Naples' own operational commitments.

The General was clearly satisfied with his visit, qualifying it in his comments as most beneficial in creating better understanding, identifying opportunities for cooperation and thus further strengthening the positive relationship between JFC Naples and NSPA.
