Responsibilities of the NSPO Agency Supervisory Board

The responsibilities of the NSPO Agency Supervisory Board are set out in its Charter.

Broadly they are:

  • setting general policy and approving associated directives
  • providing guidance for the general operation and administration of the Agency
  • approving and entering into international agreements in accordance with the NSPO Charter
  • setting the policy to be followed for NSPO relations with customers
  • approving the overall organisation and personnel establishment of the Agency and the personnel selections at grade A-5 and above, with the exception of A-5 and above personnel working in Programme Offices of Multinational Programmes
  • making budgetary and financial decisions
  • exercising governance control of the Agency’s activities and security
