NSPA Routing Hub

The NSPA Routing Hub is a centralized capability that supports consignment tracking among nations, as well as between nations and NATO.

The NSPA Routing Hub provides for consignment visibility through reliable and consistent exchanges of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) readings among Allies and NATO. The national RFID readers and other national Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) systems are interconnected through a central hub capable of bridging technical differences and routing the traffic among participating nations. This hub, operated and maintained by NSPA, also allows the sharing of AIT tools.

The NSPA Routing Hub is operated according to:

  • STANAG 2183 - NATO Consignment Tracking Communication and Security Requirements
  • STANAG 2185 - NATO Asset Tracking Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
  • STANAG 2233 - NATO Consignment & Asset Tracking by Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
  • Allied Joint Doctrine for NATO Asset Visibility (AJP-4.11)
