Programme Manager gets first-hand update on critical logistics support activities in Afghanistan
28 August 2017
During a recent visit to Afghanistan, Mr. Jim Shields, Programme Manager for Operational Logistics Planning and Support Programme, had a chance to see first-hand activities of NSPA staff in-theatre.
These activities included live-fire training in Kandahar and also an update on fuel activities – specifically the IL-76 “Bladder Bird” which is conducting fuel re-supply missions.
"This trip was a great opportunity to get updates across many of NSPA’s critical support areas." explained Mr. Shields.
