NSPA member participates in NATO Memorial ceremony

The NATO Memorial 2016 ceremony took place in Fréthun, France, on Saturday, 17 September.

Participants gathered around the monument at 09:30, payed respects and blessed all NATO personnel who died in NATO Operations.  Prayers from all religions were spoken and many flowers wreaths were laid at the monument. A reception took place after the ceremony and all participants had a chance to mingle. 

Mr. Joan Bontemps from NSPA’s Air and Land Combat Systems Programme is a member of the Veterans Opérations Extérieures (OPEX) and voluntarily participated in this annual parade, “I had a chance to talk face-to-face with many VIPs, among them the Deputy Secretary General of the NATO Parliament, and many NATO Veterans,” he explained.
